My name is Betty Fletcher. This is my 32nd year teaching at McGill. I started teaching in 1995 when the school’s focus was kindergarten only. I have since gone on to teach all grades K-5.

I graduated Spelman College with a B.A. degree in History. Later I attended National University and earned my teaching credential.

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I moved to San Diego in the 80s with my family. I have a son and a daughter. When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, drawing and learning about new teaching technology.

I believe my job is to grow an integrated individual who can make a positive impact in the world.
