Patricia Calizaya has eighteen years of experience teaching both English and Spanish in the United States and in Argentina, her native country. She has a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina), and a Masters in Hispanic Sociolinguistics from the University of Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania (USA).
She is also specialist in technical and scientific writing in English and Spanish and has led workshops in these areas for medical students, doctors, and other health professionals.
Since October 2019 Mrs. Calizaya is the Spanish instructor at McGill School of Success, where her position has allowed her to gain insight into the intricacies of living between two languages/cultures in California. McGill School of Success offers her the possibility to work and learn from teachers, students and their families who not only face the challenges, but also discover the benefits of multiculturalism.
