SMALL SCHOOL WITH A BIG HEART MAY 12, 2022 McGill Mighty Mustangs May Newsletter Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2-5th) Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2-5th) Students were super excited about showing their sincere appreciation for their teachers. They made drawings, wrote poems, brought goodies, and presented them with flowers. Wednesday - May 11, 2022 1 ATTENDANCE We appreciate all those who continue to show up to school on a daily basis. Friday - May 13, 2022 2 STUDENT LEADERSHIP McGill celebrates all our students who continue to demonstrate leadership traits and habits! Teacher of the Month Congratulations to Ms. Leslie O’Toole and Ms. Riley Riddle for being selected Teachers of the Month for May. Classified Staff of the Month Congratulations to Mr. Elder Aguilar, Ms. Alexis Hertzig, and Paris Wells for being selected Classified Staff of the Month for May. Friday - May 27, 2022 3 READING BUDDIES Upper grade leaders will be teaming up to read to our kinder and lower grade students. 1

May 26, 2022 at 5:30 to 7:00pm McGill Extravaganza! Students are getting ready to perform what they have worked so hard to learn in their music class on June 10th. Covid Testing - Ongoing As the mask mandates are relaxed, McGill continues to observe Covid prevention safety measures. May 27 and May 30 No School due to Memorial Day weekend. Extended Day Program Everyone is welcomed to enroll in the exciting and engaging after school program classes. • Music
