Cyberbullying and Internet Safety
November 26, 2025 Dear Parents, I would like to inform you that SafetyNet in collaboration with the San Diego Police Foundation will provide a presentation to our students (Kindergarten through Fifth grade) focusing on internet safety. The first presentation will be given to kindergarten, first and second grade students and the second presentation to third, fourth and fifth grade students. Ms Segovia is Back in TK!
Dear Families, I am happy to announce that I have officially returned to the classroom. I will be the classroom teacher for the remainder of the school year. I would like to thank you all for being patient with me as I was spending time to bond with my new baby. I appreciate you. I would also like to time to inform you that while the rest of McGill will be having parent teacher conferences next week, our TK students will be having them the following week December 1st - 5th. I

Drop-off and Pick-up Safety
Good morning, parents and guardians! For the safety of all our students, please remember to follow these important driving rules during morning drop-off: Drive Slowly and Be Alert: Our parking lots and surrounding streets are busy. Please reduce your speed and watch out for children. Use Designated Drop-Off and Pick-Up Zones: Please pull up to the designated drop-off areas before letting your children out of the car. Total Current Enrollment - 98 Projected enrollment: 110 underenrolled by: 12 We are distributing fliers around San Diego, promoting a community free Zumba class, a fitness walk around the neighborhood, along with events that attract people to our school. Hispanic Celebration Field Trip Fundraiser: we fundraised $649 surpassing our $500 goal. School contribution $60. Total profit $589. Field trips being planned for this semester: two day camping trip for 4th grade, fishing tri

Sunrise to Sunset Program Pickup - Front Office ONLY!
Starting Monday, September 22 nd , pickup from McGill’s after-school program will be done through the office entrance on Fir Street ONLY . The 30 th Street entrance will not be used for student pickup from the after-school program. Also, please pick your student up by 6pm! The after-school program runs from 3pm to 6pm. Regular dismissal will continue from the 30 th Street entrance, from 2:45 - 3:15pm.




FRIDAY Sept 26 - Last day to pay for pictures!
