Upcoming Test of Emergency Texting System
Dear McGill Families, To ensure we can reach every family quickly and reliably during an emergency, McGill School of Success will be conducting a test of our emergency texting system on November 14th, 2025. What to expect: At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15th, everyone with a US mobile number in your child’s emergency contact list will receive a text message from the school. The message will clearly begin with "TEST" (e.g., "TEST: This is a test..."). No action is required

October 22, 2025 Evacuation
October 22, 2025 Today, our school received a bomb threat, which triggered an immediate evacuation. The San Diego Police Department and the Fire Department Bomb Squad were dispatched immediately to our school. McGill students quickly and safely evacuated the premises. We spent the day at the park playing and enjoying the weather while authorities secured the campus. Our school was deemed safe for return by 1:00 p.m. Tomorrow, I am holding an assembly to explain to the student

For the safety of all our students, please remember to follow these important driving rules during morning drop-off: Drive Slowly and Be Alert: Our parking lots and surrounding streets are busy. Principal’s Report for October 16, 2025
Total Current Enrollment - 98 Projected enrollment: 110 underenrolled by: 12 We are distributing fliers around San Diego, promoting a community free Zumba class, a fitness walk around the neighborhood, along with events that attract people to our school. Hispanic Celebration Field Trip Fundraiser: we fundraised $649 surpassing our $500 goal. School contribution $60. Total profit $589. TK Teacher Update
Dear TK Parents, I wanted to provide an update regarding the teaching staff in our Transitional Kindergarten classroom. Mr. Elijah Richardson , who has been serving as the long-term substitute for Ms. Segovia, concluded his assignment with us on Friday, October 10th .
