Wed Dec 10 - AttenDANCE
On Wednesday, December 10th, McGill will celebrate students whose November attendance was perfect with an AttenDANCE! For those students with perfect attendance, it will be a FREE DRESS DAY - any school-appropriate clothing may be worn.
Tue Dec 9 - ELAC Meeting - 5-6pm
These meetings serve as a platform to discuss the needs of English Learners, provide feedback on effective ways to support them, and ensure their full participation in all school activities. ELAC also advises the principal and staff on the development of the school's bilingual education master plan, contributes to the school's needs assessment, and helps inform the School Site Council.

TK Parents only will be having their Parent/Teacher conferences the week of December 1st thru 5th.

October 22, 2025 Evacuation
October 22, 2025 Today, our school received a bomb threat, which triggered an immediate evacuation. The San Diego Police Department and the Fire Department Bomb Squad were dispatched immediately to our school. McGill students quickly and safely evacuated the premises. We spent the day at the park playing and enjoying the weather while authorities secured the campus. Our school was deemed safe for return by 1:00 p.m. Tomorrow, I am holding an assembly to explain to the student
Nov 22-30 - Fall Break
McGill will be on break starting Saturday, November 22nd. School will resume Monday, December 1st.
Drop-off and Pick-up Safety
Good morning, parents and guardians! For the safety of all our students, please remember to follow these important driving rules during morning drop-off: Drive Slowly and Be Alert: Our parking lots and surrounding streets are busy. Please reduce your speed and watch out for children. Use Designated Drop-Off and Pick-Up Zones: Please pull up to the designated drop-off areas before letting your children out of the car.
