We were so excited at the turnout for Back to School Night! It was wonderful to fill up the Hall, and even have to break out the folding chairs. Then folks split up and headed to the classrooms for time with the teachers.
Educating kids is at its best when it is a collaboration between kids, parents and teachers. Nothing is healthier than having parents at the school to exchange information and perspectives with the teachers.
As we say on our Mission, Vision and Values page:
We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children and must be actively involved in their children’s education, both at home and at school. We pledge to provide parents with a venue for voice and a sense of trust and empowerment via parent training opportunities and ongoing communication with the principal, staff and governing board.
We're so glad to see so many folks ready to work with us for the benefit of all McGill's students.
