The Nominating Committee will meet on Thursday October 13th to nominate two candidates for election to the McGill School of Success Board of Directors. Anyone may apply for nomination at the meeting.
The McGill School of Success has two openings on its school Board; one is reserved for the parent of a current McGill student, the other may be filled by a parent or non-parent. The new members will be elected by the Board at its next meeting on October 20th.
Thank you for taking time to consider joining the McGill Board. It’s hard to imagine a greater contribution you can make to your community than seeing to it that our children are given the education they need to succeed in today’s world.
Nomination and Election Process
If you would like to be considered for a Board seat, the process is as follows:
Submit your application (see below), answering our six questions.
You will be interviewed by 1-2 members of the Nominating Committee to discuss your application and answer any questions you may have. This is a purely informational interview; you will not be evaluated based on this interview.
5:30pm Thursday, October 13, 2022: Nominating Committee Presentations and Vote • At 5:30pm on Thursday, October 13th, the Nominating Committee will meet. • Each candidate will discuss their answers to the six questions, and Committee members may ask other questions. • The Nominating Committee will vote to nominate two candidates to the Board.
5:30pm Thursday October 20th, 2022: Board Elections • The Nominating Committee will present its report and two nominees to the Board • Board members may nominate additional candidates if they choose • The Board will hear from all nominees and ask questions • The Board will elect two persons to serve on the Board
