Every month we honor a few of the excellent students from every grade, as well as our very special Reverend George W Smith Character Counts awardees.
Here were the awardees for September:
Our Reverend George Walker Smith Character Counts awardee was Ethan Chavez:
Here is what Ethan's teacher, Ms O'Toole, had to say:
I would like to nominate Ethan Chavez for the Reverend Smith Character Counts Award. Ethan exemplifies the values of a great citizen and leader. Not only does he strive for excellence and show creativity in his academics everyday, he also shows caring and concern for others. Staying focused on his activities and sharing ideas and strategies with his classmates is something I'm grateful to observe Ethan doing on aĀ daily basis. He also consistently thinks of others and readilyĀ steps in to help anyone in need. Ethan makes our classroom and McGill a better place to learn and grow.
Congratulations, Ethan!
Congratulations, too, to our Perfect Attendance awardees for September:
Regular attendance is one of the keys to learning!
